Additionally, I am responsible for balancing guests' accounts, processing payments, and actively contribute to the training and supervision of new staff members and trainees.
Assistant Reception Manager
I oversee the handling and coordination of VIP guests, managing their arrivals, departures, and special requests. I am responsible for addressing customer feedback, managing guest complaints, training new reception team members, handling email communications, ensuring cash control and balancing petty cash, organizing special events for Loyalty program members, and driving hotel ancillary sales, including early check-in/late check-out, upgrades, WiFi, and special events.
Guest Relations Manager
I design and implement standardized procedures to improve operational efficiency. Additionally, I manage a team of 9 colleagues, handling their hiring, training, and skill development, resulting in 2 team members advancing to managerial positions. I am also responsible for scheduling the team's rotation, directly supporting and evaluating service performance based on Club Med customer surveys and Tripadvisor reviews. Furthermore, I play a pivotal role in creating and revising SOPs (Standard Operational Procedures), while also contributing to the establishment of the guest relations department at Club Med Rio.
Room Division Manager
As the leader of the Room Division team at Rio de Janeiro's Club Med, I oversee multiple departments, including reception, guest relations, traffic, events, and housekeeping, comprising over 200 employees. I am dedicated to upholding Club Med's service standards, ensuring the utmost guest satisfaction. Additionally, I implement training and coaching programs to enforce policies, procedures, and LQA (Leading Quality Assurance) measures. Moreover, I am responsible for health and safety procedures, including the management of COVID-19 protocols, as well as designing and implementing business continuity protocols, such as staff and guest evacuation plans during crisis situations like COVID-19.
Assistant Director
I am responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Aparthotel. This includes managing and coordinating all departments, such as front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food and beverage. I ensure smooth operations, efficient service delivery, and adherence to brand standards. I am accountable for financial performance and profitability. I work closely with the team to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. I also develop sales strategies, identify target markets, establish partnerships with local businesses, and promote the aparthotel's services and amenities. I actively seek opportunities to increase occupancy rates, attract new customers, and foster guest loyalty through effective marketing campaigns and revenue management practices.
Advocacy for Vulnerable Populations
I extended my commitment to making a difference by assisting vulnerable individuals from underprivileged backgrounds or survivors of sexual abuse in obtaining asylum in France. Acting as a mediator, I provided compassionate guidance to those navigating the complexities of the legal system, often without proficiency in English or French. With dedication, I facilitated communication, offered support at court hearings, and ensured these individuals were empowered to share their stories and secure a path to safety and dignity. In July 2024, I had the honor of contributing to the success of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris by representing two world-renowned companies.
During the Olympic Games, I proudly served as a representative for Visa, embodying the company’s commitment to excellence and global unity.
